Suicide Should Never Be The Option…

Call 988 for 24/7 free and conditional emotional support if you are in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.

Montana alone is one of the leading states when it comes to suicide and with that, it is important to understand why and more importantly how to help prevent someone from deciding that this is their only option.

As a resort based community here in Big Sky, we understand how long the winters can get as well as how the feeling of isolation can play into a person’s mental health and well being. Although the summers provide ample daylight and events to keep one busy, this does not mean that people we know or work with are not struggling personally.

It is important to remember to keep a conscious mind when listening to your friends and coworkers so that missed signs and signals do not go unnoticed, so that the available resources can be reached out to before it’s too late.

Suicide does not have to be an option.
